Age Divisions
Miss- (18years to 22 years)- Entry Free $60.00
Teen Miss – (14 years to 17 years) – Entry Fee $60.00
Pre-Teen Miss (10 years to 13 years) – Entry Fee $50.00
Young Miss (7 years to 9 years) – Entry Fee $40.00
Tiny Miss (4 years to 6 years) – Entry Fee $40.00
Little Miss (25 Months- 3 Years)- Entry Fee $40.00
Baby Miss (14 months to 24 months) – Entry Fee $40.00
Wee Baby Miss (0-13 months) – Entry Fee $40.00
King (Male 2 years-4years) - Entry Fee $40.00
Prince (Male 0-24 months) - Entry Fee $40.00
Teen Miss and Miss contestants only will compete in an interview on Thursday October 9th at the fair location. For the interview, contestants may wear a dress or business/interview suit. Any wardrobe questions should be directed to the Pageant Director. Contestants will have a six (6) minute interview.
Miss Contestants will also be required to speak about her platform of choice during personality wear on October 11th. The speech will be thirty (30) seconds and timed.
Teen Miss and Miss Contestants will compete in Personality Wear. Personality Wear should be non-glitz and represent the individuality of the contestant. There is no changing space at the fair so please come prepared for the pageant.
Pre-Teen Miss, Young Miss, Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Baby Miss and Wee Baby Miss, will compete in fun fashion/personality wear. NO PAGEANT ATTIRE. Contestants should have minimal make-up and outfits should be "off the rack". For example, pants/skirts, capris, dresses, etc. Contestants will not have points deducted if a parent escorts them on stage. For Saturday's competition have your contestants prepared and dressed to compete upon arrival as there will be no changing areas available at the fair.
The divisions will proceed in the order indicated above under the Age Divisions.
Rules and Regulations – All Contestants
1. Contestants must be single, never married, without children and never have been pregnant. Contestants must be female and been born female, must possess good moral character having never been convicted of a crime nor have any criminal charges pending, and must have never committed an act or engaged in any activity which could be characterized as dishonest, immoral, immodest, or indecent. Misrepresentation of any of the above-mentioned will constitute intentional deception and will result in disqualification from the contest at the time of the competition or should this be the winner of any of the age divisions , forfeiture of the title to the 1st runner up will be enforced.
2. Contestants must currently live and/or have parents with a permanent address in the state of Virginia.
3. Contestants and guests will conduct themselves in a proper manner at all-times. Any display of poor sportsmanship or uncooperative behavior from the contestant or accompanying family/guest will result in disqualification from the contest.
4. All Queens/King in all age divisions are encouraged to participate in Stafford County events to include the Stafford Christmas Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting. Miss Stafford County will be required to attend the Virginia Association of Fairs in January, 2026 in Williamsburg.
5. Queens representing the Stafford County Fair are expected to conduct themselves in a mannerly fashion, including online activity. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram and/or similar sites need to be tasteful. Any infraction of this rule will result in one (1) warning. Any further infractions will result in immediate forfeiture of the title.
